almost as if we cared

so, new (cheap) site, new album, new... well that's it.

actually there is one more thing. as you all know, postcards from new zealand are goin' live for the first time ever (and it's possible it will be our only live ever). none of you will see that (the only way would be to know someone from the band) but we hope we'll be able to record the gig because it will be very very different from what we've done up until today, we'll have a baritone sax and a flute player, a piano player and, obviously, bass, guitar and drums. we'll perform a new suite written for the occasion and named "on a night like today", divided into three sections for a total of 30 minutes. we won't even tell you when the gig is going to be so we don't risk having an audience and the name on posters won't be ours so don't bother searching and abandon all hope, as we did.

for now just enjoy this new webby home of ours and buy our music if you like it. (our old site is still online for a while at http://postcardsfromnewzealand.webs.com/, not much there though, old news and old stuff)
