truth might be told
hi everyone!
(hi doctor nick!)
been a while since we've written something here. honestly, is there really anyone reading the stuff on this site? for those of you who still do, we salute you, and prize you with some special news.
you've probably read all over about 'burn, witch, burn', the trilogy and the next two albums, blah blah blah, old stuff, we're looking to the future, and what do we see? we see that next year is gonna be 15 fucking winters since we've started this project/band/joke, so we might just do something different. another one-off gig? maybe. if we're gonna do it, and that's a big frakking if, we want it to be pretty different from the only other gig we did 5 years ago. we're looking into it to see if it's feasible, we've already got a possible setlist down that includes a lot of stuff we haven't published (yet) like songs from the aborted 'paint a smile' album or from future albums.
about that. we're almost finished recording and mixing some new stuff, it's 30 minutes of music entirely based on two chords and arranged in some weird ways (no cymbals, fucked up glitches, 80s synths and so on). we'd love to share it with you as soon as it's finished but we'll probably have to wait at least till the end of 2023 which is fucking frustrating. the title-track it's the longest song we've written in a while, 19 minutes that almost killed our drummer who decided to bash it out in one single wild take without having even rehearsed it once.
also, we're writing an autobiography.
well, that sounds serious, it's actually around 30 pages in which we tell our version of what went on in these 15 years. the working title is 'what we do: the untold story (and more lies)', it might answer some questions no one cares about and it's gonna be your choice whether to believe what is written in there or not. we'll see when and how to put it out, maybe print a few copies to give to you who buy our music.
so, yeah. right. nice.
piss off now.
yay.
