here comes the rope

well, we can finally give you some updates on the rope project. 2018 will see the publishing of a quadruple (!!!) album by pfnz. it's basically 4 different albums, each one telling its piece of the story of rope, from the war that ravaged the city to his death, through alien worlds and desolate roads. each album will have its own identity, with some recurring themes spread across the four cds. you'll get some traditional pfnz blasting and heavy grunting and stuff, paired with ambient compositions, a couple of suites and a full-on electronic album with very few guitars and no screams whatsoever. the rope suite you were promised months ago will open the third chapter, temporarily called... 'rope'. the order of the albums should go like this:

we're both stretching out and consolidating, it's a very active moment here and we're happy to ride the wave.

for once it's not all black and death and shit. then, of course, you die.
